PRINCE2 provides a process model for managing a project. The processes can easily be scaled and tailored to suit the requirements of all types of project. They consist of a set of activities that are required to direct, manage and deliver a project.
The processes are located in the following sections:
- Agile and the PRINCE2 processes (Chapter 16)
- Starting up a Project; Initiating a Project (sections 17.1–17.3 and 17.5)
- Directing a Project (Chapter 18)
- Controlling a Stage (Chapter 19)
- Managing Product Delivery (Chapter 20)
- Managing a Stage Boundary (Chapter 21)
- Closing a Project (Chapter 22).
