The purpose of this focus area is to help avoid many of the communication problems that can occur on a project, and explain the various ways in which information and knowledge can pass between project stakeholders in the most effective way.
‘Communication problems’ are regularly cited as a difficulty faced by people working on projects. This can often be the most significant problem encountered. Because effective communication is so important when a group of people come together to create something, it needs to be proactively addressed and managed throughout a project.
Effective communication is fundamental to the agile way of working but it will not just happen; it needs to be made to happen.
